六甲基二硅氧烷(MM封头剂)，无色透明液体，易潮解。不溶于水，溶于多种有机溶剂。是一种重要的有机硅初级原料，常作为封端剂用于有机硅硅油生产，或者用于硅橡胶、药品、气相色谱固定液、分析试剂、憎水剂及医疗电子元件等的清洗剂。六甲基二硅氧烷分子链结构中的Si-O-Si键具有较高的化学键能(460.5kJ/mol)，由其作为封头剂制得的聚硅氧烷有着较好的热稳定性及化学稳定性。

三、用途

1.本品作为封头剂、清洗剂、脱膜剂，适用于有机化工及医药化工生产中。

2.可用作硅氮烷原料。用于硅橡胶、药品、气相色谱固定液、分析试剂等。

3.用于仪器仪表循环冷却液和制造各类有机硅产品，也作憎水剂，用于纤维织物表面处理，无线电零件的绝缘防潮。

四、包装及储运

本品用20kg、200kg铁桶包装，储存于通风、阴凉、干燥处。易潮解，易燃，遇高热、明火、强氧化剂，有引起燃烧的危险。有效储存期一年。按危险品储存及运输。

Hexamethyldisiloxane (MM capping agent) is a colorless and transparent liquid that is prone to deliquescence. Insoluble in water, soluble in various organic solvents. It is an important primary organic silicon raw material, often used as a capping agent in the production of silicone oil, or as a cleaning agent for silicone rubber, pharmaceuticals, gas chromatography stationary liquids, analytical reagents, hydrophobic agents, and medical electronic components. The Si-O-Si bond in the molecular chain structure of hexamethyldisiloxane has high chemical bond energy (460.5kJ/mol), and the polysiloxane prepared from it as a capping agent has good thermal stability and chemical stability.

Applications

1. As a capping agent, cleaning agent, and release agent, this product is suitable for organic and pharmaceutical chemical production.

Packaging and Storage

This product is packaged in 20kg and 200kg iron drums and stored in a ventilated, cool, and dry place. Easily deliquescent, flammable, and in contact with high heat, open flames, and strong oxidizing agents, there is a risk of combustion. The effective storage period is one year.
